About Our Supplier
The first of these Strickley Cheeses will be named St Sunday’s. St Sunday’s beck passes through
Strickley Farm and is a prominent feature of the farm and represents the kind of conservation work James and his family are involved in day to day, with Otters and Kingfishers being amongst the many species of wildlife the Beck and Strickley’s farming style sustains . As a side note St Sunday is a local name for Saint Dominic, the patron saint of Natural scientists and Astronomers (stargazers?).
St Sundays is a soft cheese to be eaten between 3 and 6 weeks old. The cheeses will be washed in the early stages of their maturation, upto a maximum of 9 times.
