Product Details
A rich, creamy and intensely savoury, cows-milk cheese. Ardrahan has an umami-rich rind with a slight salty crunch and beneath that, a custard-rich breakdown. Sometimes it breaks down completely and sometimes retains a succulent but crumbling, fresh centre which lifts the savoury and peanut-rich flavours it has otherwise.
Made by Mary Burns' family and her team of cheesemakers on her farm near Kanturk in County Cork and using the milk from their pedigree Friesian herd.
